To all of those who went on the Transition Warrior Ride today, a big thanks. Once again ALR Post 62 stood PROUD and TALL, we, for the second year in a roll, had the MOST riders, and cleaned them out on prizes. WAY TO GO ALR 62!! The weather held up for us, and we had a GREAT time. Check out Arizona Biker Information Guide, April, May, June issue, and you'll see OUR picture, donating $250.00 to Transition Warrior, taken by Kimmy herself, the owner/publisher.
Once again we out shine the others, thanks, and keep up the good work.
One of our stops was at a brand new Post, #117, on 32 St., just south of Bell. The folks there are having their Grand Opening on March 6, at 12 noon, I would like us to show our support for our new brothers and sisters and make this an official Ride. They provided everyone on the Scrabble Run with food, and discounted drinks, and went out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed. We need to get in touch with the other Riders from our Post and find out where they are.
Myself and our new Vice, Dave Broyles, feel that TOO MANY are among the missing. We are a FAMILY, and need to keep in touch. If you know of anyone that hasn't been around in a while, get in touch with them and make sure all is well.
Be prepared to discuss plans for a Post 62 Riders picnic, planned for sometime in late April or early May. It's about time we ALL had a big get together, and back in touch with one another. Don't forget, Wedsenday, Riders Roast Beef Night, come on out and help. See you all later, Joe
